The World Is One Family

Celebrating India's heritage in the heart of the Gem State

For over three decades, the Idaho Indian Association has brought families together through festivals, music, language, and service, keeping our traditions alive for generations to come.

Our Story

A home away from home for the Indian community of Idaho

What began as a handful of families gathering for Diwali in a Boise living room has grown into one of the Mountain West's most vibrant cultural organizations. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run association open to everyone who loves Indian culture.

Our mission is simple: to preserve and share the rich traditions of India, to nurture the next generation's connection to their roots, and to give back to the Idaho communities we proudly call home.

“When we moved to Boise, we worried our children would grow up far from their roots. The association gave us a second family, and gave our kids a place to dance, learn, and belong.”
